Your financial data privacy is our top priority. We do not transmit, store, or save any of the salary or tax data you enter into our calculator.

All calculations are performed strictly on the "client-side" (in your web browser) using JavaScript. Your inputs (salary, tax code, pension details) never leave your device and are wiped as soon as you refresh the page or close the tab.

2. Cookies & Local Storage

We use local storage (a modern alternative to cookies) for strictly functional purposes:

  • To remember your theme preference (Light/Dark mode).
  • To temporarily save your "Employer Team" list if you use the Employer Modeller feature (so you don't lose data on refresh). This data remains on your device.

3. Advertising & Third-Party Cookies

To keep this tool free, we use Google AdSense to display advertisements. Google and its partners may use cookies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this website or other websites.

4. GDPR & UK Data Protection

Under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and UK Data Protection Act 2018, you have rights regarding your personal data. However, because we do not collect or store any personal identification data (PII) or financial data on our servers, we hold no data to request, delete, or modify.
